Grinnell College Golf Course, previously a private course named Grinnell Golf & Country Club, was purchased in 2016 by the local college and is now operated as a public course. This 9 hole golf course is located in Grinnell, Iowa.

The course first opened in 1899.

The course has four ponds and numerous oak trees lining its fairways. The greens are small, and the fairways are narrow.  #1 is a 278-yard, par 4, with a dogleg left fairway with water sitting at the bend. Your second shot on # 3 plays a little more uphill than you might realize.

Par for the course is 35. From the back tees, the course plays to 3,095 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 2,418 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 4, a par-5 that plays to 487 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 2, a par-3 that plays to 162 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 7, a 474-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Grinnell College%u200B Golf Course is # 9, a 171 yard par-3.
